Since we use sustainable and cruelty-free non-leather materials, the products we create and send are accompanied by the "Product Care" instructions enclosed by each of your purchases.

Please keep these instructions for reference, but a good rule for protecting these materials is to wipe with a damp cloth to remove any dirt gently.

Buddy Atelier offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. 

ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

Product description and price

Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on our website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. 

For sales within the EEC, the prices appearing in the catalog include VAT in euros, taking into account the VAT is applicable on the day of the order; any change in the rate may be passed on to the price of the products or products services.

The company Buddy Leather Goods SRL reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, it is understood that the price appearing on the site on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer.

The prices indicated include order processing costs but not transport and delivery costs for countries outside Romania.

Attention: customs duties, local taxes, import duties, or state taxes are likely to be required for all products shipped outside the European Union. These rights and sums are not the responsibility of buddyatelier.com. They will be at your expense and are your sole responsibility both in terms of declaration and payment to the competent authorities and bodies in your country.

Any request related to tax refund and/or intra-community VAT must be made after invoicing of the product(s) referring there.

Payment methods

Payments are taken using the Stripe secure system, which follows SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocols, encrypting any data transferred with the help of specialized software so that no third party can obtain this information while it is being transmitted over the network.

The buyer's account will be debited for the amount of the products ordered once the order has been confirmed.

Upon request of the purchaser, an invoice showing VAT can be sent.

Product return

Products purchased online at buddyatelier.com, unused and in their original packaging, may be returned for reimbursement within 14 days from the date of receiving the package, without having to justify reasons nor to pay penalties.

However, Buddy Atelier does not accept any returns or exchanges for any personalized product (initials placed on the products, modification of an element of the product, etc.) after the customer's validation.

Once this period expires, you no longer have this right of withdrawal. When this period expires on the weekend, public holiday, or non-working day, it is extended until the next working day.

The customer will support the shipping costs for the return.

To ensure the proper management of returns, we invite you to notify our customer service beforehand by email.

Right to refuse an order

We reserve the right to refuse any order or cancel any purchase for any reason.

We also reserve the right to cancel any purchase (an order we have already accepted) in the following situations (among others) without being liable for any damages or costs:

• Product not available / in stock (all payments will be integrally refunded);
• Bank details are incorrect or unverifiable;
• The security systems have detected the command as an unusual or potentially fraudulent command;
• The cost of the product (or products) was wrong;
• We were unable to deliver the package to the given address.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania.
